A Call to the Church: Return to Truth and Foundation
There is a cry rising like the roar of a wild bull, unyielding, unrelenting, and unwilling to be silenced. This is not a time for quiet compromise or passive faith. It is a time to speak, to stand, and to reclaim the truth that has too often been neglected. The church must not become like a mute watchdog, unable to warn of danger while the innocent suffer loss. The call is clear: awaken, speak boldly, and return to the foundation laid out in the gospel of the Lord Jesus.
The Foundation: The Gospel of the Lord Jesus
Our children must be grounded in truth. The principles of the New Testament are not optional teachings; they are the very foundation of a transformed life. Yet, despite the abundance of knowledge available, many systems of education fail to teach these essential truths.
The Book of Acts stands as the only historical account of the early church in the New Testament. Within its pages, we see a consistent pattern: people heard the message, believed it, and responded in obedience. Baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus was not merely symbolic; it was an act of faith, a covenant, and a turning point in their lives.
However, a multitude of conflicting teachings has led to confusion. When the foundation is unclear, the structure cannot stand firm. This confusion has contributed to the moral and spiritual struggles we see in younger generations today.
The Condition of Society
As children grow into young adults, many display behaviors that reflect a lack of moral grounding. Kindness, respect, and integrity are often replaced with selfishness and division. This is not without cause.
Scripture reminds us that when the “fathers have eaten sour grapes, the children’s teeth are set on edge.” In other words, the actions and choices of one generation impact the next. When truth is neglected, confusion and brokenness follow.
At the same time, society presents complex and often contradictory messages to individuals. A person is told they are a sinner, yet the path to redemption is made unnecessarily complicated. This is not the simplicity of the gospel.
The Revelation of the Lord Jesus
The Bible teaches that the Lord Jesus is not separate from the divine nature but is the visible manifestation of the invisible. He came as a servant, humbling Himself in human form, revealing truth and offering salvation.
This message is central. It is not merely theological, it is transformational. Understanding who the Lord Jesus is changes how we live, how we love, and how we relate to one another.
The Failure of Human Systems
Political and social systems often promise progress and solutions, yet many fail to deliver lasting change. Words without substance cannot heal a broken world.
Too often, the vulnerable are overlooked, and divisions are deepened. While some prosper, others struggle under increasing pressure. These systems, driven by human ambition, cannot replace the truth and righteousness that come from the Lord Jesus.
A Call to Action
To the true church: this is not the time for silence. Lift your voice. Speak truth with clarity and conviction. The world is facing increasing turmoil, and the consequences of deception are becoming more evident.
The human heart, left unchecked, is deceitful and prone to selfishness. We may present ourselves as virtuous, yet harbor intentions that harm others. But there is hope.
The voice of the Lord will rise like thunder before a storm. There will always be those who refuse to remain silent, those who stand for truth regardless of the cost.
Hope for the Faithful
To the poor and the needy: do not place your trust in uncertain riches or in those who exploit others for gain. Instead, turn to righteousness and truth.
Let righteousness flow like a mighty river. As long as there is even one person willing to stand in faith, just as Noah did, there is hope. A place of safety can be built even in times of destruction.
Do not be deceived. The Lord Jesus cannot be ignored or mocked. Those who persist in wickedness without repentance bring destruction upon themselves. But those who turn to truth will find life.
Returning to the Pattern of Acts
The answer is not hidden. It is clearly revealed in the Book of Acts. Chapters 2, 8, 10, and 19 show a consistent and unmistakable pattern of belief, repentance, and baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus.
In Acts 2:37–42, we find the keys to entering the kingdom of heaven. The message is simple, powerful, and life-changing. It is a call to respond, not just with words, but with action.
