A Call to Repentance: The Gospel of Peace the World Desperately Needs

The World’s Greatest Need: Repentance

As a servant of Jesus Christ and one of the sons of God, I am convinced that the greatest need of this world is repentance. Repentance is not merely sorrow or regret. It is a turning of the heart, mind, and life back to God. It begins with acknowledging Jesus Christ for who He truly is, the Creator of heaven and earth.

Scripture tells us that He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, yet the world did not recognize Him. He came to His own, and His own received Him not. Yet the promise remains powerful and unchanging: to as many as received Him, both Jew and Gentile, He gave power to become the sons of God. Through Him, they are saved from the second death.

Without receiving Jesus Christ as Creator, Savior, and Lord, there is no true safety, spiritually or eternally. Repentance begins by recognizing His authority and surrendering to His truth.

A Call to Lay Down the Weapons of War

My call today extends beyond the walls of the Church and reaches into the halls of power. It is time for the nations to beat their weapons into plowshares—to turn instruments of death into tools that bring life. The resources spent on destruction could instead feed the poor, clothe the needy, and heal the broken.

The wars raging across the earth are not born from peace but from pride, greed, and the hunger for power. Leaders who claim to be peacemakers while fueling conflict deceive the people. War enriches the wealthy while the poor pay the highest price. This hypocrisy must end.

True peace cannot be manufactured by weapons or treaties. It can only flow from hearts transformed by God. Until leaders and nations turn from greed and violence, there will be no lasting peace.

Returning to the Gospel of Pentecost

The solution is not new. It was preached clearly over 2,000 years ago on the Day of Pentecost. When the people asked what they must do, the answer was simple and direct: “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

That promise was not limited to one generation. It was declared to be for them, for their children, and for all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. This is the Gospel that changed the world once, and it is the same Gospel that can change it again.

These words are not merely tradition. They are the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Kingdom of Heaven Is a Kingdom of Peace

The Kingdom of Heaven is not built on domination or fear. It is a kingdom of peace, goodwill, kindness, love, and compassion. It is marked by humility, tolerance, patience, and bearing one another in love.

This is the peace the world longs for but cannot produce on its own. It flows from obedience to God and submission to His will. Where the Gospel is obeyed, hearts are changed. Where hearts are changed, peace follows.

This is the message for our time. This is what the Church, as the body of Christ, must be carrying out in word and in action.

Turning from False Gods and False Loyalties

Repentance also demands that we turn away from our many false gods. We must stop worshiping men, money, and political power. World leaders are not saviors. Wealth is not righteousness. Influence is not truth.

Too often, people obey the voices of men instead of the commands of God. Evil is excused. Greed is praised. Pride is celebrated. This must stop.

Stop playing God. Stop pretending to rule heaven and earth. Stop calling evil good and good evil. Stop worshiping money while the poor suffer. Turn to the Lord with all your heart.

A Warning and a Call to Church Leaders

This message is also for church leaders. Those who have prevented people from obeying the Gospel must repent. Those who have refused to baptize believers in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ must return to truth.

There is only one name given under heaven whereby we must be saved. It is time to stop compromising. It is time to serve the Lord in truth and obedience.

The world does not need more religion. It needs repentance. It does not need louder voices. It needs surrendered hearts.

Now is the time to return to Jesus Christ—the Creator, the Savior, and the Prince of Peace.
