Exposing False Doctrine Through Apostolic Teaching

Exposing Truth and Error in the Light of Jesus Christ

Let me bring something into the light. An obsession with following lies is not harmless confusion, it is dishonesty. Scripture repeatedly warns us that truth matters because truth leads to life. When people reject what God has plainly revealed, they reject the foundation that saves them.

The Lord Jesus Christ did not come as a separate or lesser being. He came as God Himself manifested in the flesh. Jesus did not teach that He was merely “a god” among many. Instead, He revealed that He was the Father made visible, dwelling among humanity. This truth is not new, and it is not hidden. Yet many refuse to accept it.

Jesus Christ: God Manifested in the Flesh

The Bible teaches clearly that Jesus Christ came to earth as the Son of God, meaning God Himself entered human form. Jesus did not deny His divine identity. Rather, He revealed it. He declared that whoever had seen Him had seen the Father. This was not symbolic language. It was revelation.

However, many preachers resist this truth because it challenges long-held traditions. They repeat formulas without understanding the authority behind the Name of Jesus Christ. Repeating Matthew 28:19 without recognizing the revealed name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost misses the point entirely. The apostles understood that the name is Jesus Christ, and they acted on that understanding.

Baptism and the Remission of Sins

One of the clearest examples of this misunderstanding is baptism. The apostles baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, just as Scripture records in Acts. This was not optional, symbolic, or cultural. It was obedience.

Yet today, many refuse to baptize in the name of Jesus Christ. They replace obedience with repetition. Saying words without faith and revelation does not produce biblical results. Baptism in Jesus’ name follows the example and command that the apostles received directly from Him.

Peter and the Keys to the Kingdom

Jesus personally called Peter and told him he would become a fisher of men. Later, Jesus entrusted Peter with the keys to the kingdom of heaven. He promised that whatever Peter bound on earth would be bound in heaven, and whatever he loosed on earth would be loosed in heaven.

This authority was not symbolic. Peter used those keys on the Day of Pentecost when he preached the first gospel message in Jerusalem after the Holy Ghost was poured out. When the people asked what they must do, Peter gave a clear answer: repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

To deny Peter’s message is to deny the authority Jesus gave him.

The Apostles’ Message Still Matters

Some modern ministers claim that Peter and the apostles were mistaken or incomplete. That belief is dangerous. Jesus said that those who believe the apostles believe Him, and those who reject them reject Him. The apostles laid the foundation of the church, and Scripture declares that no other foundation can be laid.

Paul the Apostle went even further. He warned that if anyone—even an angel from heaven, preached a different gospel than what the apostles delivered, that person would be accursed. Truth does not change with time, culture, or popularity.

Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing

When we observe the condition of many churches today, it raises serious questions. Do these leaders believe God is alive, or do they act as though He is silent? Scripture warns us not to be deceived. Many who appear gentle speak lies as hypocrites. They disguise themselves as sheep while spreading deception that poisons the truth.

The Bible calls them lovers of lies. Their words may sound kind, but their doctrine destroys the foundation of faith. God is not the author of confusion. Truth exposes lies, even when lies are popular.

Come Out From Among Them

Scripture urges believers to come out from among those who reject truth. This is not about hatred or pride. It is about obedience. God calls His people to walk in light, not darkness. The truth of Jesus Christ is not hidden, and it is not complicated. It is revealed to those who are willing to obey.

Do not be deceived. The truth still saves. The name of Jesus Christ still has power. And the gospel preached by the apostles still stands.
