From Judgment to Salvation: The Message of Acts 2

A Public Calling in a Dark World

My calling and my appointment were not hidden. They were public. They stand in the open for all to see. From the beginning, the message has been clear and uncompromising. The entire world is filled with wickedness, ignorance, and spiritual darkness. This present world system operates under satanic influence, confusing truth and promoting rebellion against righteousness.

Yet even in this darkness, the voice of the Lord Jesus still calls. He calls humanity to repentance, to salvation, and to eternal life. I just wanted to let you know that the call is urgent because time is short.

Heaven, Earth, and the Authority of the Lord Jesus

The heavens contain the throne of the Lord Jesus, and the earth is His footstool. Nothing exists outside His authority. Scripture declares that the heavens and the earth will not remain forever. They will pass away with a great noise. They will be rolled together like a scroll and burned. The present earth will be removed, leaving neither root nor branch behind.

This is not symbolism meant to scare. It is the truth meant to awaken. Between now and that appointed time, every person must make a choice. We either turn to righteousness or perish from the earth.

The Gift of Eternal Life Through the Gospel

Despite the certainty of judgment, the Lord Jesus has provided an escape route. He offers the free gift of eternal life through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the power of His resurrection. Salvation is not earned by works, nationality, or heritage. It is received through repentance, faith, and obedience.

The sequence of these events is clearly recorded in Scripture. Acts 2:38–42 lays out the divine instruction for salvation. Repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, the forgiveness of sins, and the receiving of the Holy Ghost are not suggestions. They are the ordained response to the Gospel.

A Message Confirmed by Obedient Witnesses

This message is not theoretical. Its certainty has already been established by those who obeyed it. From the early apostles to faithful believers today, men and women have carried out this command while warning others to flee the judgment to come.

They proclaim salvation not out of pride, but out of love. They warn not to condemn, but to rescue. The Lord Jesus is patient, but patience does not cancel judgment. Delay is mercy, not permission.

Righteousness, Sin, and the State of Nations

Scripture declares that righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. There is no nation on earth that can honestly be called righteous. Every nation stands in need of repentance. Laws, wealth, and military power cannot shield a people from divine judgment.

The answer is not political reform. The answer is spiritual transformation. That transformation begins with individuals responding to the call of the Lord Jesus.

The Holy Ghost and the Call to Salvation

The Spirit of the Lord Jesus, called the Holy Ghost, now dwells among humanity, drawing hearts to salvation. He convicts, teaches, comforts, and empowers. Through Him, the Lord Jesus calls all people to come and receive forgiveness and new life.

Life is uncertain. Scripture compares us to a flower that blooms in the morning and is cut down in the evening. Death can come at any moment. Because of this reality, we are exhorted to redeem the time and prepare our souls without delay.

Humility, Pride, and the Final Outcome

The humble hear the calling and rejoice. They respond with repentance and faith. The proud, however, approach the message with indifference. They continue on their chosen path, dismissing the warning until judgment overtakes them.

In the end, the Lord Jesus alone will receive the glory. Every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess His authority.

A Call to Read, Obey, and Receive Peace

Read the Book of Acts. Study the instructions for salvation. Follow them with reverence and gladness. Those who obey will receive a peace that surpasses all understanding—a peace that remains even in a passing world.
