The Simple Remedy the World Has Forgotten

The World’s Search for Change and Peace

The world is desperately searching for solutions. Nations struggle for peace. Communities are divided. Even the Church, which should be a beacon of hope, often reflects the same confusion found in society. Yet the remedy for true change, progress, peace, and glory is not complicated. In fact, it is strikingly simple.

The answer is the simplicity of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Sadly, what God made simple, many have made complex. Pride, personal ambition, and tradition have blinded many leaders. As a result, the Church has drifted from its original foundation. Instead of unity, there is division. Instead of clarity, there is confusion. However, Scripture already warned us this would happen.

Earnestly Contending for the Original Faith

The book of Jude gives a clear instruction: “that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” This faith was not delivered in pieces or in multiple versions. It was delivered once, clearly, and with power.

Jude also warned that ungodly men would creep in unnoticed, distorting the truth and denying the one God and the Lord Jesus Christ. History confirms this warning. Over time, human ideas replaced apostolic teaching. As a result, the simple message of salvation became buried under layers of doctrine and division.

Therefore, the call today is not for something new. Instead, it is a call to return.

The Foundation Laid at Jerusalem

The true foundation of the Church began in Jerusalem, as recorded in Acts chapter 2. On the Day of Pentecost, the Apostle Peter, who received the keys of the kingdom from Jesus Christ, stood and preached the first Gospel message of the Church age.

That message was clear and direct:
“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

This was not a one-time event. The same message was preached again in Acts chapter 8, Acts chapter 10, and Acts chapter 19. Everywhere the apostles went, they preached the same Gospel. They spoke the same thing. They practiced the same obedience.

This consistency was not accidental. It was intentional. God established one foundation so that His people could walk in unity.

One Lord, One Faith, One Hope

Scripture declares that there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, and one hope of our calling. Division does not come from God. Confusion does not come from God. These things arise when people depart from the foundation.

When preachers teach different messages while claiming the same Christ, confusion follows. When Acts chapter 2 is ignored or altered, unity is lost. The Church cannot be strong while standing on divided foundations.

If those who preach would humble themselves and return to the apostolic foundation, something powerful would happen. Just as in the book of Acts, cities would be turned upside down—not by politics or power, but by truth.

The Authority of Apostolic Teaching

Jesus gave His apostles authority. What they bound on earth was bound in heaven. What they loosed on earth was loosed in heaven. That authority did not expire. The foundation they laid cannot be removed or altered.

The Gospel recorded in Acts chapter 2 is not optional. It is not outdated. It is the pattern for salvation. Obedience to this Gospel is the only way forward.

There is no shortcut. There is no alternative remedy. The answer has always been obedience to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Returning to the Remedy That Brings Unity

If the Church truly loves the Lord and loves truth, it must return to the foundation. That return will bring peace, unity, and harmony—not only within the Church, but as a witness to the world.

The promise is still the same. It is for us, for our children, and for all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. This is not a message of division, but a call to alignment.

The world does not need a new gospel. It needs the original one.

This is the true remedy. This is the divine solution. This is the simple, powerful Gospel of Jesus Christ.
