I Will Bless the Lord Jesus at All Times: My Personal Commitment from Psalm 103
I Choose to Remember Every Blessing

Life can become so busy that I forget how much the Lord Jesus has done for me. Problems often shout louder than blessings. Worries can steal my joy. Pain can cloud my memory. Yet Psalm 103 reminds me to stop, look back, and remember.
Therefore, today I make a personal commitment. I will bless the Lord Jesus with all my heart. I will not allow fear, disappointment, or daily struggles to silence my praise. Instead, I will remember His goodness and thank Him every day.
David began this beautiful psalm by saying, “Bless the Lord, O my soul.” I will make those words my own. I will encourage myself to worship even when I do not feel like it. I will praise the Lord Jesus because He is always worthy.
I Will Never Forget His Benefits
Next, I will remember the many blessings the Lord Jesus has given me.
I will remember that He forgives all my sins. My past no longer controls my future because His mercy is greater than my failures. Therefore, I will walk in freedom instead of guilt.
I will remember that He heals. Whether my healing comes instantly or gradually, I will trust His perfect timing. I will continue praying because nothing is impossible for the Lord Jesus.
I will remember that He redeemed my life from destruction. Many times He protected me from dangers I never even saw. Because of His love, I am still here today.
Furthermore, I will remember that He crowns me with lovingkindness and tender mercies. His compassion never runs out. Every morning brings fresh mercy.
Finally, I will remember that He satisfies my life with good things. Even during difficult seasons, He continues providing exactly what I need.
I Will Trust His Compassion
Sometimes I fail. Sometimes I fall short. Even then, the Lord Jesus does not treat me according to my sins.
Instead, He shows mercy.
Therefore, I will stop living under constant condemnation. I will repent when I sin. Then I will accept His forgiveness and continue walking with Him.
Just as a loving father cares for his children, the Lord Jesus cares for me. He knows my weaknesses. He understands my struggles. He remembers that I am human.
As a result, I will trust His compassion instead of believing the lies of the enemy.
I Will Build My Life on His Faithfulness
Life changes quickly.
People change.
Health changes.
Finances change.
However, the love of the Lord Jesus never changes.
Because His mercy is everlasting, I will place my confidence in Him rather than in temporary things. My hope will not rest in money, possessions, or popularity. Instead, it will rest in His unchanging promises.
Moreover, I will obey His commandments because I love Him. My obedience is not about earning salvation. Rather, it is my joyful response to His amazing grace.
I Will Join All Creation in Worship
Psalm 103 ends with a powerful picture of universal praise.
The angels praise Him.
His heavenly hosts praise Him.
His works throughout creation praise Him.
Therefore, I will also praise Him.
I will praise Him when life is easy.
I will praise Him when life is difficult.
I will praise Him in my home.
I will praise Him in my workplace.
I will praise Him in my church.
I will praise Him in private and in public.
No matter where I am, I will bless the Lord Jesus with all that is within me.
My Personal Commitment Today
Today, I choose to make Psalm 103 my daily prayer.
I will bless the Lord Jesus with all my heart.
I will remember His forgiveness.
I will trust His healing power.
I will thank Him for redeeming my life.
I will celebrate His mercy.
I will rely on His compassion.
I will obey His Word.
I will praise Him every day.
Even when life becomes difficult, I will not forget His goodness.
Instead, I will lift my voice and declare:

That will not simply be a verse I read.
It will become the commitment by which I choose to live every day.
